Algonquin’s 1:1 Digital Learning Program provides every student with a consistent, reliable device to support learning throughout the school day. By providing a district-managed device to each student, we ensure equitable access to technology and a common digital learning experience, regardless of a student’s personal access to technology.

A consistent device platform allows teachers to design learning experiences with confidence that all students have access to the same tools, applications, and features. It also simplifies classroom routines, technical support, security, and connectivity while reducing the challenges created when many different types of personal devices are used on the school network.

Most importantly, the 1:1 program supports our goal of helping students use technology purposefully and responsibly. Students will continue to develop skills in collaboration, creativity, communication, critical thinking, digital citizenship, organization, research, and problem-solving—preparing them to learn, work, and participate successfully in an increasingly digital world.
