Facilities Rentals
Algonquin Regional High School offers a structured facility rental program designed to support community use while protecting the integrity of school operations. Guided by Regional Policy E-110, the program permits access to school spaces when such use does not interfere with academic schedules, athletics, or other school-sponsored activities.

Algonquin Regional High School Facility Use Guidelines
1. Rental and Service Fees
The standard rental charge for use of Algonquin facilities is outlined in the Schedule of Fees. Payments should be made payable to the Northborough-Southborough Regional School District and mailed to:

Fees are reviewed annually by the Northborough-Southborough Regional School Committee.
The Principal, in conjunction with the Facilities Manager, will determine staffing needs and assign utility, cafeteria, light and sound technician personnel as necessary.
2. User Responsibilities and Restrictions
- Groups are liable for any damages to school property
- All users assume risk and release the District from liability for injuries or incidents
- Use of the school’s name or District’s name for financial gain is prohibited
- All organizations renting school facilities are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding background checks, including CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) requirements. The District assumes no responsibility for verifying compliance on behalf of external groups.
- Alcohol, drugs, and tobacco use are prohibited on school property
- Liability insurance may be required, naming the District as additionally insured
- A police detail(s) may be required at the Principal’s discretion; the cost of a police detail will be incurred by the user.
- School closure (e.g., snow day) will cancel all rentals; the event may be rescheduled if possible. If rescheduling is not possible, a refund will be issued in a timely manner. Events must end by 11:00 p.m. (unless approved by the Superintendent)
- School equipment is not included in the rental unless specified
- 48-hour cancellation notice required, or fees will be charged
- The District is not responsible for personal property
- Violations may result in loss of rental privileges
