More than 80 colleges and universities visited to share information with students and families. Thank you to the APTO and the many adult and student volunteers whose support made this event possible. PRINCIPAL'S UPDATE
Dear ARHS families,

I hope that our week was a good one and that you you stay dry this weekend through the storm.

Thanks to everyone who came out for Curriculum Night this week. Spending a late night out on a school/work night can be a challenge, and I appreciate that families took the time out to meet the staff. We enjoyed providing you with a glimpse into your child's daily life in and around the school! Please note: Parent-teacher conferences will be on Thursday, October 8. I will share more information about how to sign up next week.

Also, I want to take this opportunity to note that October is National Bullying Awareness Month, which serves as an important reminder for us to continue fostering a safe, inclusive environment for all students. Bullying can have long-lasting effects on students' well-being, academic performance, and overall sense of belonging, which is the focus of much of our work. If you have concerns that your child or someone else you know has been the victim of bullying, we are eager to hear about it. There are multiple ways to report bullying: you can call or email the administrator assigned to your child's grade or you can submit a tip through the Say Something tip line. The tip line can be used for other kinds of reports as well, including concerns that someone you know may hurt themselves or others.

More information about bullying prevention is available from StopBullying.gov.

Have a great weekend.
Sincerely,
Sean Bevan

SCHOOL NEWS

From Algonquin Hockey:

From The Northborough Scholarship Fund:
From The Neary School:
ATTENTION NEARY ALUMNI!! Please see the following note from Neary Principal Millett:

You're Invited to Join the Neary School Council

We are inviting Neary alumni, family caregivers, and staff members to join the Neary School Council for the 2026–27 school year.
The School Council provides an opportunity for members of our community to share feedback, offer different perspectives, and help support the continued growth of our school. It is one important way families, caregivers, and staff can have a voice in the work happening at Neary.
Meetings will be held from 3:15–4:00 p.m. in the Neary Conference Room on:
  • Thursday, October 8, 2026
  • Wednesday, December 9, 2026
  • Tuesday, February 10, 2027
  • Wednesday, May 12, 2027
If you are interested in serving on the council, please email me directly: tmillett@nsboro.k12.ma.us. We hope to bring together a group that represents a range of voices and perspectives. If family and caregiver interest exceeds the number of available seats, participants will be selected at random from those who express interest.
Thank you for considering being part of our work at Neary. We value the opportunity to work together to support our students and school community.

Thanks!
Mr. Millett
