Informational Update from ARHS: Best wishes for a happy winter break

Posted Date: 12/19/25 (04:30 PM)

alt_textStudents in Ms. Turner’s U.S. History I class took a step back in time today, both historically and technologically: as part of their unit on Westward Expansion, students played The Oregon Trail, a classic game many parents may remember from their own school days. The game offered students an engaging way to experience the choices, risks, and realities faced by those heading west. (Photo credit: Sean Bevan)

PRINCIPAL'S UPDATE
Dear ARHS families,

I want to take a moment to share my deep appreciation of the students and staff who organized tonight's Winter Ball. The event came together through the hard work of the members and advisors of Student Council, supported by a small army of staff members who volunteered to chaperone. It's always a memorable night for everyone involved, and I am grateful for the efforts of our leaders in organizing it each year!

Also, congrats to the many wonderful singers, musicians, and staff who participated in the Holiday Concert this week. Bravo!

I hope that your Winter Break is enjoyable and restful and that you are able to spend time with loved ones. Happy holidays, and Happy New Year!

Sincerely,
Sean Bevan

P.S. Thanks to Sophomore Eleanor Marquez, whose ARHS seasonal logo is featured above. Eleanor created the logo last year for her class, Graphic Design for Publications. Well done!
